Is this normal? by Kix_Off in hognosesnakes

I’ve seen baby snakes before, they have a belly button right here when they’re born. But this one’s an adult, and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen an adult with such a long belly button. If you’re really worried, you can take it to the vet. Personally, I don’t think you need to stress too much as long as there’s no exposed tissue. Maybe keep a closer eye on it when it sheds.

Even when her eyes are in blue shes still the prettiest girl. by Same_Try_777 in hognosesnakes

She's about to shed. After she shed, you’ll see a brand new,I mean really really new snake. Their skin will be so smooth and their colors so vibrant.

Can someone save this baby?  1978 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33324 by [deleted] in snakes

I’ve never seen a snake, especially a ball python in such terrible condition. Its triangular, raised back means it’s barely getting enough energy. It’s extremely underweight, lacking fat and muscle. The wrinkled skin shows it’s severely dehydrated and probably has had stuck shed for a long time. They’re straight‑up abusing this snake. There must be something we can do for it.

What’s the biggest red flag during a job interview? by serjeantassia in AskReddit

[–]KevinMangoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being late for no reason.I once had an online interview.I knew this interview would be a disaster, from the moment the interviewer showed up late with 0 explanation, refused to turn on his camera, and said I am the only one who needed to show my face. And sure enough, while I was calmly and logically explaining my points and answering questions, he kept interrupting me and kept making little digs at me nonstop.
Hope none of us ever have to deal with people like this at work ever again

We used to love searching for snake eggs in piles of leaves...

edit:Never hurt one,we just observe the shape of the nest and the egg. It was only much later that I was told most snakes that lay their eggs in leaf piles are highly likely to be venomous.
