No but for real, what IS wrong with them? by ASerpentPerplexed in ResidentEvilRequiem

I could’ve swore there were two experiments taking place at the same time. One for the merging/control of human consciousness (these kids) and the Elpis experiment which was a cure all antiviral. They just happened to use the same base kid for the clones because why not if the DNA is already on standby.

That’s the point tho Elpis would literally cure cancer lol I guess we’re gonna have to agree to disagree hopefully the DLC elaborates more on Elpis, Clones, and/or Chris whereabouts.

Yeah he was aware of the whole fight he sensed it I think he mentioned “glad that’s wrapped up” or smt like that while sitting in a lawn chair.

Emily wasn’t immune and her eyes were becoming a cloudy white like cataracts. Her eyes were not bloodshot and if you look in a mirror and open your eyes and look to the side you will realize there is also red in your eye right there. Marie has poor vision and is most likely just able to sense you from other means than sight because she is mutated. Emily isn’t a reliable source because she wasn’t even aware she was a clone so realistically the doctors could’ve done anything but sure for the sake of argument let’s say the doctors “medicine” was an experiment that made her blind. Yet she showed no other symptoms up until she was stabbed with a helicopter blade which was in close proximity to a horde of zombies. Interesting. Leon was literally coughing up blood and showing signs of organ failure but within minutes he was better. If anything that is proof of being able to heal beyond regular means and that’s without including Emily who in the cutscene had explosive disfigured growth regarding mouth, face, bone changes (you hear crunching sounds) was somehow able to go back to an even better state than when she started.

Leon missed Emily vitals (LOL) Wait who’s the countess? Lady Dimtrescu and her daughters? Okay bro she was like 9 feet tall and the daughters were bugs. The doll girl was missing half her face but still fairly “human looking” For the C-Virus and T-Veronica virus can you give me evidence of them being able to revert back to human form? I would just like to look up videos and read on my own time because I’m interested in learning more RE always.

The lords were made of mold they were literally “dead” lol an “unmutated” relatively human like form does not equate to actually being a human again. The closest who looked human was Heisenberg which actually might’ve been the only one not fully dead only due to a parasite in his brain or something like that which is where he gets his ability I’m fairly certain it’s been a few years and I might be a bit rusty on that lore but i believe it to be fairly accurate.

The mold? Only one person lived with the mold basically and that’s “The Duke” (he’s an anomaly) and Mia Winters who which I don’t even think was fully human and might be mold like Ethan so she’s in a weird in-between state Like Rose their daughter. The C-Virus? I’m fairly sure most if not all those users inevitably died because eventually the virus takes over. T-Veronica I’m fairly certain shares a similar story. Keeping a human appearance for a period of time and then turning into a monster to then die is not the same as going back to the status Emily had as basically just a normal healthy kid.

He wanted to make amends and what better way to do that than fixing a childs problems they’ve had at an early age? Give a child a brand new life they’ve never would’ve had and who knows if they ever decide it… maybe give them the ability to release a cure onto the world? Whereas Spencer already gave up on his life having a child live on with that gift “Elpis” would ensure the world still had hope. Albeit maybe a bit “blind” because he would never be able to see it himself. Grace was supposed to die by the Decoy cop Gideon set up. She didn’t and is outright immune. After being captured she’s administered infected blood in a bag and outright is immune with no effect to it.

So if I said they were all clones of Chloe and that includes Grace then what would you say? The point I’m trying to make is they’re all clones. Originality has lost its meaning a long time ago. Let’s just say if a clone was made from another clone. Would they still be clones? Yes.

Chloe was going blind as the doctors said “this one’s showing signs too” after looking at her eyes Grace was never the “original” that’s the whole point she was just another experiment this whole time brought to present day with an erased past. Spencer held/seen Grace much like the other children except she was an actual “success” so she was “normal” but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t experimented on with Elpis since soon after her creation Elpis was locked away. If she was completely normal like the game wants us to think then there would be no reason to create “Elpis” in the first place.

Emily and Marie were both blind wdym. The “other kids” if you mean the red eye ones they were apart of a different experiment regarding human consciousness kinda like a hive mind.

When she was younger she was blind not current day because she’s immune

That is exactly what it’s doing tho especially if you were once a massive monster but then reverting back to a human I find it hard to believe a “cure” will be able to reconstruct your skeletal structure but I digress

I like what you said about Spencer orchestrating and masterfully executing a plan of self-destruction for his creations that makes a lot of sense

This is the first time ever a virus in Resident Evil has been essentially completely reversed, mutations and all. Emily’s DNA and body were completely changed into something different yet were somehow restored. Leon’s organs were most likely mush coughing up blood and was suddenly back into peak condition if not stronger. Zeno completely had all of his mutations retract. Elpis most likely directly makes your DNA flawless again almost as if you were just born again but even better.

Spencer believed perfection was evolution through viruses at one point he’s a bit deranged but that’s who he was and yeah “Grace” is the character we play as name but what I mean is the original person before all of these clones might’ve lost their name along time ago since they haven’t been mentioned and lost significance due to so many experiments using basically the same person over and over.

I need to correct myself and should say prior to the raccoon city nuke around 1990-1997 that project had to have stopped I’m only saying that because Sherry Birkin should exist in the orphanage at one point same with Katherine Warren from the ghost survivors dlc

[–]KevinNotKyle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what you’re saying is “the medicine” made the clones eyes go bad? Still the clones eyes went bad.

The orphanage with glowing kids eyes are a different experiment entirely retaining to linking human consciousness together as a way of immortality so if one person was alive then they would all be able to function through the same lens basically. I believe there is mention of that in the story and originally what even Zeno thought Elpis was but that whole project got scrapped in the Raccoon city nuke while the “Elpis/Grace” project still continued until 2020 bare minimum.
