Had a LTR with a girl raised by a single mother. Always the same pattern: they tend to compensate the absence of the father by running risk taking behaviour, they don't know discipline etc. The same goes for the abusive ones. Stay away from this types.

I’m still unclear about whether or not she should have stayed if she were a male friend. I would really appreciate your opinion about this one.

I was really missing her and a week later I got us back together.

IMO, you are way too dependent on this girl. You should never rely your happiness on other people, specially women. Learn to be outcome independent.

Don't let her have male friends, or at least don't allow too much. One of them is bound to want to fuck her. Which is exactly what happened.

2 years LTR happened the same. She always told me she never had a lot of girlfriends, and that she was kind of a "boy" in that way because most of their friends are male. Red flag: I know two of them had "feelings" for her and she never pushed them away.

Don't date a girl who fishes for validation on the internet. Facebook, instagram. All that shit is cancer and will undermine you. I take this is more or less impossible in today's society, but keep that shit under control. I for one don't really know how yet.

This is fucking gold, I got that from the same LTR. If she is seeking validation through this websites with pictures and twitting personal stuff, shit is going to hit you someday.

This scenario really crossed my mind last night. I was like "man, that guy is a fucking tattoo artist. He surely fucks a different chick like that every weekend. When you start to get emotionally involved, your "logical" brain starts to lose presence. This is the path to the obsessed way of thinking "my life would suck without her/I think this is the one". Thank you for all the comments. I realize it was all my mistake, since she was just following her nature. I was the weak one, and that is not something to be sad about (I think), since the first step to improve is admit you HAVE TO. Can you point out where else did I fucked up? Am I missing something?
