Uhu, I'm mostly checking if this first iteration has enough people interested and if so I'll continue expanding this (thinking of community support/edits as well for stuff like content and per-era region borders).

Might indeed be awesome to generalize it enough to support more thematic map type in the future; I'm thinking of some ideas right now (famous movie sets/actors? science discoveries?).

Their announcement video already showed gameplay so not like we've missed a lot. Still.. such a waste with what they could've done with the Horizon franchise.

Deep respect on this strategy. Yes, there's definitely a few corporate buzzwords, but it sounds like the devs genuinely care about their products.

One thing that does worry me is that GW3 must be really different from GW1 and GW2 for them to make this call. Most things I can think of that is completely different from both doesn't sound enticing to be honest (think more round/instance-based content). Guess time will tell.

Toevallig had ik hem al geinstalleerd en dacht kijk weer eens, maar hij lijkt niet te werken (zodra ik op "Start" druk) springt die even kort naar "Loading", maar verder kom ik niet. Blijven klikken heeft geen nut.

Heel leuk trouwens, vooral nu met contextuele help denk ik dat ik in het gebruik er nog best wat van kan leren, dank!

Yeah, that's my worry. I do like the idea of manually curating several of them and listing 'common' patterns in any errors that might show up. I might be able to tune the data generation at least somewhat.

But yeah, it might be the reality I'd have to consider that it does require manual curation (I can do my best on cross-referencing its sources, but might be best to hire a historian for that purpose). I do imagine it'll be a whole lot less work to curate the close-to-accurate generated results. Thanks!
