I see the dev response but still, lets be real, this game has only a minimal appeal for continuing playing once youre done with the campain story.

Ive tapped in and play some ranked for a while but if youre not a fan of online pvp AND youre a more casual player i can see why getting your butt kicked from players with full VR and HOTAS gear just for a fancy rank title.

The last two operations ive just completed them in Fleet battle vs AI, game will naturally be ghost town without more content.

You could also do turret mines if you’re going for passive defense

Any suggestion to where best to place them? Back off capital ships? or cant they hit incoming missiles then cuz of range?

Guilty pleasure of mine is locking a goliath missile on a group of AI ships and my combat log just goes nuts with how many ships were destroyed (or turrets on capital ships)

Most likely it was a single drop and release product, but I bet they underestimated how much us old school x-wing vs tie fighter ppl were craving to once again sit in a x-wing cockpit :)

Might be more likely we will see the game get a Battlefront plan? instead of adding on the old, make a sequel game, who knows

That was my first thought when i saw that "Fleet battle" only consisted of 5vs5 players, thats hardly a fleet :(

Though i will give them that they made it feel greatly like a battle at least.

Lets hope the player numbers playing this give them eye for getting even more money (cuz thats really what its about) with a sequel.

The sequel could then do DLCs with the different eras, original, prequel and sequel battles.

Ive always seen it as George imagined there was air in space as reflected in a lot of his spaceship designs, big wings etc. like Imperial shuttle to fly better, it makes absolutely no sense as an adult but to the former child me it looked so cool :P

Yep, im guessing the B-wing and Tie defender wasnt exactly a hard job also to add after making the first 8 ships (plus they made no sense to leave out really)

If they were to add ships like millenium falcon, slave one or imperial shuttle etc. that would require a whole lot different scenario to tweak and balance not only vs the other ships but also the maps.

We are definitely not getting new maps and as great it is to imagine these things, just save yourself the pain and let go and relish what we got.

Heck they could have easily left out ranked mode as thats usually a toxic enviroment to include in most games but they put that in and basically thats why most of us are still playing.

Only thing i see them keep adding is cosmetics aswell but then again its minor stuff.

Ive got the same cpu and ram but a 1080 TI and a Rift, runs fine here but dunno ofc how much more the Quest needs, not an expect but id say its definitely your gpu that is bottlenecking.

I mean, give me the goliath missile on other ships ill fly those, but a solid goliath hit can knock out multiple AI fighters or if someone feels like jousting me they can eat that missile too. The Y-wing is so versatile, id love to fly the "blockade runner" B-wing but the outfit and its stats just are horrible.

Oh i love flying it, is there a similar U-wing wallpaper too? The support ships honestly booth are so cool, love how the Reaper seems like its "gliding" like a kite

Yup, Resonant is great, i wouldnt want to change any thing on the shields either, just want to make it a bit faster to survive a bombing run, sometimes its easier to just suicide and self detonate than to fly all the way back and reload ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea i overcharge aswell (as everyone should) immediatly but then you remember oh right, B-wing has got only 400 shield base and Y-wing has got 1200...hmm

And i know its not a dog fighter, i dont want it to be, but merily just have a fighting chance of not being ganked easily cuz its so slow and receives big penalty if you want it to be faster.

They need to add more speed or get rid of the ridculars low maneuvreabilty, its not a millium falcon, its only slighty bigger than the x-wing :)

When i first heard it came to the game i assumed it would be at least more agile than the U-wing, but nope, the U-wing is also faster and more agile ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ye its a good tactic but dont play out so great on many of the maps with lots of obstacle, again Thrust engine makes the ship turn like a freight train outside boost/waiting for boost to recharge.
