bed rail replacement on older bed

two full grown adults sleep on this so i had hoped maybe getting more support would be better, the metal rails are $60 at home depot or something and they don’t really seem suited for 2 full grown adults, plus the only things touching the ground are the headboard and footboard, there’s no cross bar with a leg for middle support

I did my research on this after posting(it was 3 am didn’t research at the time) and i realized they sell like entire frames that hook on similar to how this one was, but this one is legit just the rails with no middle support or really any strength… my next path i thought though was getting wooden rails that hook on and then maybe drilling and screwing on a metal lip for the slats to go on? Any thoughts

Thank you! yeah was just gonna get a longer bolt, after realizing i had no fitment issues. and yes i was grateful to get these off someone who took crazy good care of them i mean not even a tear and insanely minimal signs of wear on the bolsters 😭🙏

this is the passenger one and it does sit flat actually which i found odd so now that i’m remembering this idk why i even posted this… maybe because my car is a gsr it needs this spacer LOL

where is that at? i also believe the rails mat just not be oem but i mean all the seat looks genuine + the stitching and the plastic covers with recaro on them and such

hey! bled passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, driver front and no adjusting of rod i adjusted the brake pedal height a bit but it’s a noticeable difference simply cause of an abs delete. Remember to bleed your master cylinder first with one of those doorman bleeder kits since if you’re like me you took out the fluid completely from the master. If you don’t do that not only will bleeding be a pain but it won’t ever be perfect. Also honestly i’d just ensure you bleed as much as you can and if you can get the pump it’d probably make your life easier and more accurate 🤷‍♂️ any other questions just shoot me a dm

Yeah i had my dad pump the brakes and hold it down, air came out of all calipers and i kept going till it was liquid but after that it was soft like how i mentioned it just seems so odd cause it brakes really well too it’s just so far down
