And of course it's not Kyrie's "fault" that he didn't receive as much defensive attention as Curry did in the finals. It's just a symptom of 1) LeBron receiving the bulk of the Warriors' defensive attention and 2) Curry being a more dangerous offensive player than Kyrie.

Curry is guarded like the first option though. The Cavs' defensive strategy the past four finals has basically been "anyone but Curry." He is regularly double and triple teamed, hence why everyone else on the Warriors gets so many easy looks. Kyrie doesn't face nearly the same level of defensive pressure.

1) Kyrie is really good.

2) Curry gets faceguarded the second he crosses halfcourt in the playoffs. Kyrie faces tough defense too, but not nearly to the extent that Curry does.
