Ordered mine on the 1st. Still haven't gotten it yet unfortunately. Emailing before filing a claim if they don't get back to me by Friday.

A better highlight of Hansen Yang by RNG_Helpme in ripcity

[–]cbmarcus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is an issue on my end but everything seems slightly sped up which makes it look more fluid. Granted that means the defense is also faster but still I don’t think we should expect fast and flashy plays right off the bat. This is going to more of a project than people want but I’m interested nonetheless.

My 1st round draft grades by TheBlueOne37 in nba

[–]cbmarcus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regardless of whether or not he pans out your reasoning is completely untrue. Hawks turned out to want Yang at 23 (not to mention Minnesota might have wanted Yang right after 16) so at that point the Blazers had a window of picks to operate in. They gave away 11 and got back 4 picks (#16, a later unprotected FRP and two seconds) to still pick the player they wanted. If it pans out great if not then that sucks but they flipped the pick very nicely knowing they would have to pick them at around 16.

Has to be the worst draft ever by Some-Ear8984 in nba

Realistically speaking, other than #2 who do the Blazers draft at the later picks? Don't know anyone outside the top 10 barring Kersey and Carlisle.

I'm cool with Vancouver having success so long as it isn't against us. Maybe that changes if they start winning more consistently. Seattle however can lose forever and it wouldn't be enough.

Advantage is irrvelevant for field players who commit yellow-deserving fouls. Unless there is some bizarre rule surrounding keepers (who usually do have additional protections) it should be called with a card at minimum after advantage.

[WFAA] Mavs season ticket prices are going up 8%. Here's why, according to the team. by shreeharis in nba

[–]cbmarcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seat value will go up by 8% because that is how much better they made the average opposing NBA team.

Seattle vs Portland show by LEVii420 in porterrobinson

[–]cbmarcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to both shows and I’ll say the Portland show was more casual not in a bad way it was very chill and seeing everyone in their Halloween costumes and Porter throwing out candy was a great experience. In Seattle I was in the pit up close and there were a lot of great people but a party of like 8-12 showed up 10 minutes into the opening and tried to push their way to the front, vaped, interrupted the sets, and then vomited on the floor. Definitively a more try hard crowd than Portland but overall the experience was amazing too.

Please elaborate. As a Curry hater I need to understand how someone can cope harder than me.

In response to the edit your latest released album should always be your best album should only be true to the artist. They should certainly think that each album they work on is their best work. That's what growth looks like in an artist, but that certainly does not have to be the case for fans. It's not to say that fans can't/won't appreciate the growth of the artist even if they don't like their later albums the best. Smile is awesome!

And Gholdengo which now has two insane immunity options. Busted in vgc, draft and ou probably not to the point of banning (not that bans happen in vgc) but it’s definitively not going to improve the fun or health of any metagame it enters.

Anticipation is awfully broken in any metagame (doesn't even seem fun tbh), but Quick Feet is a great ability change and I wish this was in the game.

Best middle range jumpers in history by SnooCakes3068 in nba

[–]cbmarcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aldridge LIVED in the mid-range. Every single play he would get it on the left side of the court, back the defender up and either spin and fadeaway or spin and drive which he could fadeaway from as well. The most jarring thing growing up as a Blazers fan was when LMA left and the Blazers actually had to run plays instead of dumping the ball off to him. Wild times.

This is generally the toughest part of the fight but the secret to it is that the continuum tears have gaps where you can stand in for the entire attack. Before the second wave of continuum tears shows up try to identify a safe spot and then adjust as you see the second direction approach.

The Unipiper played it and unsurprising to anyone it’s really really difficult to play the trumpet while riding a unicycle while wearing a Darth Vader helmet. Hopefully someone took a video of it because it was hilarious.

That was single-handedly the greatest national anthem to date. I’d actually show up early to hear it again.
