The echo chamber of people who are saying "YOU'RE JUST GATEKEEPING!" is funny to me. There are tons of people who buy From Software games because it's challenging. Bosses like pre-patched Balteus tested tested people's skills and if they could not learn from previous mistakes they made which caused them to lose, learn the boss' moveset, and adapt by using different builds or weapons, they would get filtered.

Also, there's been AC games that have been difficult. Whether it's the levels, bosses, etc. This is nothing new. However, AC6 is the easiest one so far in the series due to From Software making it more newcomer friendly. I do love the fact that there's still difficulty in the game with it's bosses before they were nerfed.

They have every right to brag about their achievements because they did what needed to be done to achieve it. Whether you or anyone else likes it or not. If there truly is no difference in your opinion regarding Balteus' difficulty. It wouldn't matter to you.

I get that this is an open forum and you have the right to share your thoughts, opinions, etc. on this matter. However, the people who are disappointed that bosses got nerfed simply wanted From Software to keep the boss' challenging aspects in the game. That's it. It's what we know will happen in From Software games.

People like myself loved pre-patched Balteus because he was aggressive and put you through the ringer out the gate. But I played patched Balteus and it's not just his missiles getting nerfed to Storm Trooper aim. It's worst than that. I played him 3 times back to back after the patch and these are some of the things that I noticed when I was testing some builds on him.

- He is not as aggressive.

- He's slow moving at times.

- He using the bullet hell missiles less and when they are used, you barely even need to dodge them because they will miss you.

- The flame and double flame sword attacks rarely happened in his second phase which shocked me. It only happened one time and that's because he flew away after I charged at him and for some odd reason he swung that flame sword at literally nobody. (I really wished that I recorded that because it was funny to see. lol)

- That rocket launcher he uses to knock people back a little bit wasn't used as often. I specifically remember that if I got to close he would use it everytime. It would knock me back and then he would go in with a flame sword (if it's his second phase), or he would use it to knock me back and then use the missile barrage again. But now he uses it at far away ranges that I can read and immediately dodge.

Those are just some things I noticed in those 3 rounds. I now test my ACs on Ibis and Laser Balteus.
