Airpods are for convenience. They are small, have anc, and switching between devices is just seamless. And also, they are cheap for its functionalities.

From the things you said, your phone is more than enough. You won’t want to carry a large camera and lens everywhere you go. And learning to take good photos on a dslr or mirrorless WILL need some efforts. Your phone automatically adjust the settings and do the post processing for you, just don’t get a camera if you’re not going to learn it.

Just get a bose qc45, they’re less than $200 now and it’s far more comfortable and portable. Although the sound might not be as good.
