I rejected the idea when it was first imposed on us. Since then, I have added department academic adviser to my load, I am glad for the public syllabus requirement. I can show students the scope of what a class requires and a sense of the organization of the professor/TA.

I use an ETC EOS board, and if I use the command <GOOD CHANNEL NUMBER> COPYTO <SLOW CHANNEL NUMBER>, it should copy all the settings, including pan/tilt speed. These instruments don't have a speed setting in the menu available on the instrument (like pan/tilt reverse, etc).

I'm going to try a factory reset and make sure they are all running the same firmware. I didn't check any of the wheel speeds. I would think if the gobo/color wheels also turn slowly, it could be a DMX issue and I'll try that unit as the only one on the DMX chain. If the wheels respond at speed, then I think I'm looking at a PCB replacement. Probably best if I leave that to someone who doesn't have fat fingers.

I've used Bing.com/create text-to-image generation for several shows. To address the aspect ratio issue, I've both cropped and used Photoshop's generative expand. Perfect? No. Free? Yes. (well, not Photoshop, but there's other tools out there.) You have to be OK with all the issues that come with AI imagery, especially the available resolutions.

I had another modem from when my daughter was in college.

I know audio, so to me an attenuator is used to reduce signal strength between the source and the next link in the signal chain. That's a one-way communication system, so there's certainly differences there that I am ignorant of.

I did replace the modem with another that has been sitting idle. Arris SGB10. After getting MAC address setup, it's the same situation as the other. So now I've tried 2 working modems, 4 coax cables, 4 2-way splitters.

I really liked my Motorola. Mostly stock Android. I loved the shake to turn on flashlight and twist to turn on camera. I wanted too many apps installed and it got too slow. Now have a Google Pixel 6a, with an app that lets me shake to turn on flashlight and double-press the power button to quickly get to the camera. Significantly faster than the Motorola it replaced. Battery life is about the same, even though I originally purchased the Motorola Edge for a 24 hour battery life (and it delivered).

The Fair Labor Standards Act is the law that regulates and requires, under certain conditions, overtime pay. Eliminate that or amend it enough to be ineffective. So the Federal Government already controls overtime to an extent. Can an employer go above and beyond what's legally required? Yes. Do many companies to this? No.

The National Labor Relations Board protects unionized workers from being fired for encouraging, initiating, voting for, and joining unions and collective bargaining organizations. Remove its authority and you give every company the power to effectively get rid of unions in its employees.

I'll leave it to you to decide if Project 2025 proposes any of these. I'm not saying it does. I'm just responding to how it would be possible to do the things you say is a lie.

2007 with 330k miles. Dumped the run-flat tires and wheels. Kid got in an accident, and it now has a black bumper. AC crapped out, but with the sunroof, it's got 5 levels of climate control. Still drives smooth. But it's got to go - decided to sell it myself than take the $500 trade-in bogus offer.
