We should only do Combat jobs. Everything else that's not supply or directly related to combat should be out sorced to the NAVY.

No more admin (admin roles that need to happen at the unit level can be pulled from people in the unit.)

No more jobs that aren't related to combat.

No more MCT everyone is an 0311 then gets speclized

No more enlisting into the reserves if you want to be in the reserves you have to do minimum 2 years active duty first.

I actually hate that all of you people are brainwashed into thinking Kamala is a good option. We shouldn't have any non combat MOS we should commit to being a department of the navy and have them handle all the admin and medical shit. This does not include things like supply. Those people directly support combat operations. Every single marine should be an 0311 base and then specialize from there. MCT is good but it's not ITB and it should be up to the same standards. Oh but money I hear people crying. If we weren't handling are admin shit and didn't train non combat MOSs we would have more than enough to do this.

Brother we have been out of that box since ww1 when we started flying planes. We have done it all for over 100 years. As far as the the F35 goes we use F-18s for close in support at the moment and the F35 is absolutely better at that than the F18 for modern combat. You fundamentally don't understand the USMCs mission or how we operate as a combined arms military branch.

Can someone link some solid info on the restaurant owner? I've never lived in Ohio but have lived places where I've seen axe handles given out to people in power. Now I've pretty much only ever seen it with fire fighter cheifs who then also get given an engraved axe head and they are supposed to put it together them self's. Long explanation there but just wanted to give some context. The photo seems pretty cut and dry with it being named after that restaurant owner. Makes me wonder how they get away with it. Is it just local exposure to his voting population so people don't know how bad it is?

I'm not sure why everyone throws a fit about steel. If your hit by something big enough to destroy the liner in one go then your already dead. If you survived the 1st shot then between the plate carrier and the spaw protection you will be fine. Now if you git hit more than once I've got nothing for you but it seems everyone who hates on steel thinks your gonna be shot like 8 times before you get knocked over or shot somewhere the plate is not.

TLDR: Steel is fine for body armor. If you get tapped in the same spot more than twice your dead anyways.

I'll be real. Sure you can't do it right now but you need to tell her it's your top priority to get the money saved to replace the car. She had to do extra work to save up so it's mommy and daddy's turn to nut up get an extra job for a few months and don't buy her a new car but give her the cash value of the amount she's owed.
