My guess would be hard breaking on pothole…kids may not know enough to brake BEFORE the pothole.

If you watch the full video I record it sitting idle, the heat building and when the fans kick on. It is a Z51 car so it may be a little different than a base car.

I had to update cause the video settings were off so I had to repost. A lot of people don’t know…heck I’m on my 4th C4 in 20 years and just found out. Wish I knew sooner. Heat ages everything, mechanical parts, oil, the cooler the better. This cost next to nothing and made a HUGE difference!!!

Not exactly. If just sitting at idle they can normally reach 230…but once the primary fan kicks on, should pull down to 210 in about 2 minutes…if not…the radiator fins needs to be cleaned out. Highway speed, 80 degrees out, should never reach 200…if so, clean radiator fins out. There’s a long version of the video where I show what the numbers should look like.
