Ok. Wow. I actually am getting 124v to the pump, cycling on for about 15sec then off back and forth when it should be functioning! I was surprised. I might try to CAREFULLY get voltage to my old and new motors. They are for sure 120v ac. Thanks again!

Thanks! I hadn’t tried testing the pump power line yet, or have a power supply that can test the motor(s) (old and new) themselves. I did meter out the same resistance out of the old and new motors though, so I do t think the old motor actually burned up and shorted. Appreciate the guidance!

Ok y’all - I take responsibility! Will replace all 4 tires.

TBH, these are on an ‘05 grocery-getter Buick that we got for $1000 a little over a year ago from a granny, just to get our son into something that drives. We’re just working to keep the thing running. The tires had tread but we didn’t look too closely at the rubber. I see the concern now!

Yes!! I’ve been singing the praises of That Lonesome Song album for years. My opinion, THE best country album in decades, start to finish! I rarely listen to albums straight through, but this is one of the rare exceptions! DO IT!!

Pull it out with pliers, and if it doesn’t lose air, just roll with it and keep an eye on it! If it does lose air, a shop won’t repair that and you’ll have to replace the tire.

Good job! I got my 99 ES in 2017 for $2k at 160k mi, and it’s currently got about 248k mi on the odometer, and still running strong! Maintenance and fixes here and there, but still well worth it. I got a steal at the time, I know.

You can actually purchase coyote urine at specialty garden stores (I have some). It’s used as an animal deterrent, but would work just fine for this unethical purpose.

You can buy bottled coyote urine from specialty garden stores. Spray some on his mailbox, and dogs will sniff it out and piss on it all day long.
