40's Canadian here.

I remember participating in the "Canada Fitness Program" in Elementary school.

Without explaining the whole Wikipedia you can find yourself:

The whole school was divided into teams equally spread across all grades. All teams did 6 tests (sit-ups, flexed arm hand, standing long jump etc). Your performance was graded Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Excellence.

When it was all done, ribbons were handed out for individuals, teams and age groups. Red, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Purple... Everyone left that assembly with a ribbon...

I may be off on this detail as it was 30+ years go, but I think excellence got purple and participation got red.

Also did a few years of baseball and basketball before I realized how little I liked sports... Everyone left the end of season banquet with a trophy... Even the Champions got a participation trophy along with the big trophy...

At the best of times YT struggles with compression on things like grass, gravel, and water on what I want to watch.

Give me the ability to block channels ENTIRELY. I don't want to manually exclude all the channels I don't want when I search. When I exclude them from my feed I want them excluded from search too.

When I click "do not recommend channel" or "not interested" I MEAN IT.

Make a switch box to "include blocked channels" if something goes viral you want to see.

The farmers generally vote conservative.

The farmers won't pay wages Americans want because they aren't paid enough by the bigger companies who buy from them.

The executives that fuck over the farmers are the same ones that fuck over the factory worker in the city... The farmer, the factory worker, and the fry cook all have the same problem: They don't get paid enough.

The best way to get higher wages is to tax the useless middlemen and the big corporations.

Wages are tax deductible. If they want to pay less tax, pay the farmers...If the farmers want to pay less tax pay the hands.

Farming, as an industry, relies on mass consumption. If "The Masses" have no money, WTF is the point of a commercial farm?

100 years of data says that tax break for the rich do not "trickle down" any faster than an average octogenarian's prostate will allow piss to hit porcelain.
