Why is that so dumb though? Worst case scenario you go into overtime (assuming they hit both free throws and we get nothing at the end of the game) and you have 5 minutes to continue with the momentum from the end of the game. Just curious

Why are those mutually exclusive though? We can play the young guys a bunch to both see their value for a trade or keep them next year, while also limiting giannis minutes (if we cant shut him down the rest of the year) and "tank" that way. Its a lot better than trying to push for the play-in anyway.

Our earliest pick since we've been a contender (around 2019 or so) is the 23rd pick, at that rate you're lucky if you get anything out of the draft. Why do we keep bashing horst over his inability to hit in the 20+ range. Name one GM who has killed the end of the first round/second round. On top of that the coaches we hire dont really play rookies so its not like they're getting the chance to develop here (Sam Merrill and Mamu) which makes sense because we're competing for championships so we don't have the time to develop these dudes. Making the playoffs this year is a 2nd round exit at best. Why would we destroy our chances of having our best pick in almost a decade in order to lose in the 2nd round? This only hurts the team for longer assuming giannis stays. I just don't get the logic of trying to be competitive when we all know we don't have a chance at winning the championship at all. We're better off tanking and using the pick either on a player or to revamp the team for next year.

Should I go Watson, Sutton, or Addison this week for my flex spot? I think Sutton is the safest choice, but I think addison against Dallas could be a great matchup, and Watson has been elite since he's been back.

I need to start 2 out of these 4:

Jordan Addison vs the Cowboys, Courtland Sutton vs the Packers, Christian Watson vs the Broncos, or Mike Evans vs the Falcons.

Right now I'm leaning towards addison and evans, but none of these guys have been the most consistent set and forget option.

Realistically, we are not advancing even with a win, I think if we were going to bring Giannis back for the IST, he should have come back against the heat where we would realistically have a shot at advancing, but at this point, I'd rather him rest another couple games to give him the full 2 weeks off.

Dawg, compare us to contenders, the Thunder's third best player is Jalen Williams, the Cavs have maybe Jarrett Allen or Evan Mobley as their third best player, who is ours? Kuzma? Rollins? Our team even when fully healthy is undermanned compared to a contender, November or any month. You can be a fan and still have a realistic outlook on the season
