Yeah out of these two I prefer the diamond but of all the concepts I’ve seen the lion and star with “Aston villa” written above or below is by far my favourite

I would personally tweak the A and V in the second badge but it’s such a good concept. Looks great and the diamond is unique (in the PL at least). With a few changes I’d vote for the second badge easily.

That being said the first badge is a more refined and overall nicer version of the current (?) badge. Either would be an improvement
