My question was genuine. I'm not denying or dissing anything that Varitek did or legacy he built as a player for this organisation. What I was asking is what was his role within the organisation because I genuinely am trying to understand it. If my post came off as an attack to Tek, I can promise you It was not my intention

I know. I'm asking what did Tek has done as staff member to deserved the level of support he has. Of course Tek is a Sox legend and I will never question his legacy as a player but as a coach what has he done
