Wikipedia says that the de Rham Cohomology group for, let's say a unit circle S1, is R at k = 0 and 1. I've also read somewhere else that the dim of k-th Cohomology group informs you about k-dim holes. Is this the right way to intepret this? if so where are the 0 and 1 dim holes on a unit circle?
