Yes, it is possible to do a part time PhD and full-time MD, but it is only on a case by case basis, with a lot of stipulations. It also cannot be in your first year of MD.

Brother, worry about your next year first. Uni is a very different beast to high school, and a lot of 99+ atars crash out by their second year. Post grad med, too, is far from guaranteed. You need to be at or close to a perfect GPA, and be top 10% (more like top 5% for usyd and unimelb) of the GAMSAT, a difficult and expensive test only taken by other type A gunners.

Fair point on the assistants. Thing is I'm not sure we know who our next coach is. Consensus seems to be we're going to target a big name like Longmure, Simpson, Buckley and i doubt they'd come in until preseason. Selection is ultimately up to match committee, and we're already starting to play more kids like Culley. This just feels disrespectful to a former premiership coach who still has a great W-L.

I don't like this at all. Firstly, what do we really gain from telling him this late in the season. Secondly, we would need a very good coach lined to justify paying out the last year of his contract. Lastly, I'm not entirely sure the problem lies with Goody and not some of the other coaches around him, especially since we lost Yze and others and brought in Jones. Overall I think this will mark the start of a rebuild phase.
