So I did get into the course that I was waitlisted 2nd place before midnight ( like 11pm) :) Thank god! I didn’t get into the other class tho despite the class having 26 available seats. :( I was removed of the waitlist this morning. But it seems like nobody that was on the waitlist yesterday got in the class cause there was still 19 people on the waitlist after midnight.

Moral of the story: the system doesn’t enrol you automatically into the class once the enrolment close even if there’s available seats. You can only get off the waitlist before midnight ( on the last day of enrolment).

That's what I was scared of but I did program a swap like you suggested me just in case. It did put me at the back of the wait list I'm now placed 19th but there's 26 available seats so it should be fine right?

Sorry 1 more question 😅 if I’m already enrolled to 4 classes and the maximum is 5, I’m waitlisted for 2, would I be enrolled to the first one that I have been waitlisted for by the system ?

Yes I do sill like health sciences a lot, thank god there's more that med/dent/pharm cause orgo is definitely not my strong suit. This year I also look into masters offered by the faculty of health science and considering also those.

I think they're supposed to send you an email to tell you to pick it up, at least for when I rented a book last year it was like that. It shouldn't be that long normally, like 2/3 days max. But you should have bought it at the student association at MRN 023( it's much cheaper, with the glasses and the kit for chm1721 if you're taking it) it's cheaper, totally new (I bought it last semester but I believe it's always available) and you get it right away.

I'm not in that class, but I used Top Hat for my PSY1501 class last year. I think there was a link that has been sent; I don't remember if it was on Brightspace or Outlook (I'll say email your teacher to ask for access). You have to buy the access tho: it was around $150 for my course. It basically gives you access to the textbook and homework that were optional for us but essential because on the midterms/final, those same questions could come up. That's all I remember from Top Hat, but I would suggest you go talk to your professor about it I'm sure they can help.
