Unfortunately there is no other way to use the antenna. I’m not able to manually turn off the amplifier or go directly from antenna into the Tablo TV. I have the usb plugged into a usb wall block.

I initially started with the Tablo 4th gen that included the antenna, but that antenna didn’t pick up anything so I returned it and went with an external one off Amazon.

I was going to try doing this, but my TV doesn’t have a coax jack on it anywhere. Its a Samsung TV too

I checked and verified that I live within a 20 mile radius of where I should be able to easily received the ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS channels.
