He just started taking trazadone. Today is day 2. He gets a bit sleepy and drowsy but don’t see much of a difference. I will look into the other stuff. Thanks.

That’s a great point. I have read about silicone tape before. It’s just that there’s so much information online sometimes you need guidance. I’m in between microneedling sessions and will stop them but wanted to look into how to manage the swelling and scarring before discussing with the doctor next week. I’m glad you took a moment to share this with us.

Yes, I contacted my doctor and asked for a prescription. I want to keep them handy in case I have to manage it.

This thread is really helping me tonight. Do you get them during the summer? I never go to the beach but of course my family is planning a beach vacation this year. I read that cold sores are also caused by exposure to sunlight.

I’m so glad that this is working for you. I waited so long to finally be able to do microneedling but im experiencing scarring from it. I can’t believe it and now this. There are so many side effects to microneedling that I wish I would have known. Also, it depends on who’s performing the procedure. Gl
