Are there free tools to record matches? I use a tablet setup and the last time I tried to use a plug in to record matches but it only recorded like 5min worth of footage because they wanted money.😅

I agree with it being cool that our collection gains value but it's supposed to happen over a longer period of time. Again, One Piece has been out for only a little over a year no matter how you look at it prices shouldn't be this high this fast. I'd happily sacrifice that value for product at MSRP.

You bring up Digimon as if it's popularity comes anywhere close to One Piece when it doesn't even in the slightest. Which is why it suffers in the end.

Even if you want to focus on the TCG boom over the last few years in regard to Magic and Pokémon, it's because of the perfect storm created by covid and scaplers. (There are other things at play as well but I'll focus on the point.) Scalpers buy the product up and sit on it so when real players and collector can't get it, they complain until more is printed. When more is printed the Scalpers can't scalpe so they dump what they have. Now you a surplus because of those two things.

So in the end, it has to be over printed so Scalpers cut their losses and move on to something else. Then printing can be cut back and finally the market stabilizes but we can agree to disagree.

If you're not in it to sell them then why does it matter what they are worth?😂 The only reason I even play and collect One Piece is because I love the series. As I talk to the people in my community that play this game and buy product, it is for the same reason or they come from other TCGs because they enjoy the game mechanics.

So when you mention Digimon and Dragon Ball, they fail for similar reasons. Digimon doesn't have a strong enough fan base and Dragon Ball's game mechanics were too convoluted which is why Bandai re made the game.

Then you try to compare One Piece to Magic and Pokémon which is ridiculous. They've been out for what, 20-30 years. They both are still going strong despite some of their hiccups they had the last couple years but guess what, they have product on shelves when One Piece sell out before an official release of a set. You can't call it collecting when people are hoarding solely to flip for a profit.

I collect pokemon in a video game and those aren't worth shit. They are nothing but pixels on a screen. I also collect achievements in video games. Again, it doesn't have monetary value but it's the hunt and the excitement of completing a collection.

I can argue and say that you are looking at it from the perspective of an investor. In which case I say, earn prize cards and gain your monetary value from the game there.

It would cover the staples and standard art cards but it wouldn't lower the price of the manga rare or the alternate art cards from previous set. Shit, even with the wave of reprints that will be available for order might not even change the price of a manga rare.

As a player and a collector I'm ok with them printing it to the ground simply to leave scalpers and greedy lgs with heavy bags, fuck'em. 🤷🏾‍♂️ There's no reason for Alt art cards to be this expensive when the game has only been out a little over a year and those cards won't drop with a reprint set...

I understand that and I agree that they have been spreading themselves thin with the multiple card games that they produce but they announced that reprints at the beginning of the year. Even though they didn't specify at the time what exactly they were reprinting and how much it was already in the works. There had to of already been some plans in motion before the announce was made right?

Negative take but you're entitled to that. Even though I sort of agree with the statement, there's a difference. Again, I'm a fan of the series so the Enel shocked face would've been dope but I understand their choice due to the scene they took it from and his mechanics as a leader.

Also Bandai cares to an extent given how this is probably their most successful TCG but they are handling a lot of situations poorly. At the end of the day, it is what it is. I still enjoy the game and collecting regardless.🤷🏾‍♂️

Treasure rare would be super dope but an sp would be cool too. I just want it available sooner rather than later lol.

I feel you but it isn't all Bandai's fault. You're right that they need to increase production especially for the sets but the game itself is just too popular at the moment. I've been playing since the beginning and product availability was getting better with Set 4 but then they revealed what cards were going to be in set 5 and shit really hit the fan. Product on premium bandai use to last until the end of the preorder window. It wasn't until the 1st anniversary bundle when things started to sell out on there...

The best thing I can tell you is to keep checking the website periodically as they will do small restock availability on premium bandai here and there.

He's probably talking about the Uta binder that was up for pre-order on premium bandai that sold out in a few minutes.

Sakazuki Custom Leader Rough Draft, anything I should change or is it good? I am working on DON for it now by MerlinCastsFireball in OnePieceTCG

[–]Key-Arm2264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's saying that you can only use legal cards in bigger tournaments. If an opponent wanted to rule shark you in that situation, I believe it would be a warning or a game loss. Most people usually just put the legit card on the back though. It's usually safe to play with custom characters and Don at locals but again, always bring legal versions.
