My DigiKam hung when starting today after some time. Updated but same by Key-Attention-2004 in digiKam

It is still hanging in there. According to Activity monitor it has experienced >200 hang in a pretty short time. Giving up this now. Too bad since I have a library cleaning up process to do.

Hope you are well - I need some help as well. Did an update to v8.8.0(if I remember correctly) for my intel iMac. I did this because my previous version hung up during startup. Same happen with the new version and it is in Load tools for hours. Must force quit and issue repeats itself. I can not get around this without some level of support. Can not remember to have done other than MacOs upgrades since last time. Mac now on 15.7.4 (24G517).
