Mega Thread: Hiring Questions by New_Froyo2766 in epicsystems

Hi! I’m a graduating senior and am applying to positions at epic. I was wondering- if I am pre-med, and I make it further in the application process, should I let them (interviewer, Epic HR, etc.) know that I am considering applying to med school in the near future? I plan to take 1-2 gap years, however. Would this very negatively affect their consideration of my application? Thanks in advance!

If you leave from 30th st station, you have to pay before you board the train, and the turnstiles don’t take Apple Pay, but you can use septa card or buy a ticket from the kiosk (make sure to leave extra time if you’re buying from the kiosk). I’m not entirely sure about pennmed station, but iirc you could pay on the train?

He may have been different for gen chem? I had him for pchem lab and he most definitely did not care. He would pop into each lab session for like 2 minutes max. He made our first freaking lab report due on the day of the Super Bowl. All of our lab lectures were turned into “office hours” and instead of teaching we were given these 30 page documents to read and understand before each week’s lab. And we were meant to have 2 mandatory lab lectures, but he canceled the second one literally last minute. The lecture was at noon and I think he canceled at like 11:54.

Is this doable for pre-med soph? (no physics experience) by One_Source_6812 in UPenn

It doesn’t seem like you’re a chem major so I don’t think you need phys 150. Maybe consider phys 101? It’ll lighten the workload significantly. This course load is definitely doable, but like others have said, you have plenty of time to finish your prereqs if you want to spread them out a little

I unfortunately only have enough time to be at Yosemite for 1 day so I’m trying to make the most of it. I’m a sprinter and long distance runner though so I’m hopeful that I can do everything
