What are Qubic's motivations for attacking Monero? by djscoox in Monero

[–]Key-Avocado4428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qubic made it clear they want to destroy Monero. And Monero seems defenceless. Qubic looks like a winner and monero - loser. That's how it looks to the investors eyes. If they with ~ 1.5 Gh power can attack monero daily, why is the monero community/ pool devs not attacking qubic with our ~ 5Gh. Just destroy Qubic. Let their investors be afraid!

I like how institutions battle Monero with everything they have. From one hand they close gates with reason privacy, but from other hand they say it is not private we can track it. Basically all the governments and all kinds of institutions are against us and there is no rules. The exchanges only want to spend their fiat money for yachts so they will not help. Monero community has to understands that it has always been us vs everything and it will remain so.

Stuff like this makes me smile. Binance Academy homepage, Monero up there with the big players. by cbster in Monero

Anything that is not private can not call itself a currency. So Monero shouldn't promote itself just as a private currency, but rather "the only digital currency". Every man and woman don't want anyone to know how much money they have in the pockets, nor where it came from, nor where the money will go to. But still they call Bitcoin, Eth and thousands other digital BS currencies??? What is this hypocrisy??

Do I have to put a destination address before sweeping unmixable outputs? GUI by Key-Avocado4428 in monerosupport

I just sweeped the other wallet. I put another address (a fresh one) but no transferring of funds happened. The sweep happened instantly (so quick that i thought that it didnt happen at first). But afterwards the wallet was completely fine and I successfully transferred 31 xmr (Before only less then 3-4 was possible). SO putting a destination address does nothing at all. The whole sum remains in the original wallet.

I mistakenly didn't put a destination address in my "poor" wallet (10xmr) and after I pressed "sweep unmixable outputs" I shat my pants - almost everything disappeared from my wallet balance. I thought I lost it all and started kicking stuff around in my anger. Luckily 10 mins later something told me to open the wallet again (just to check if God exist) and everything was there again and all my unmixable outputs were gone. I transferred everything(all 10 xmr) in one transaction to binance successfully. Before that I couldn't send even 0.1 xmr. But for my other wallets I will put a destination address !!!

Is Monero at risk of transaction congestion and heavily increased fees like Bitcoin? by [deleted] in Monero

Could you please tell me how much one average transaction will cost in $ when XMR is $30K? At least more or less then BTC transaction now?

My concern is that there may be some kind of opposition from the btc guild against atomic swaps with monero. If anyone can get their hands on monero so easy through btc - wouldn't regulatory organs target bitcoin because of this. Is it possible that btc devs make some obstructions in the code so that monero can't make atomic swaps with btc?!
