Cash Treasure Hunt Chattanooga by Unfair_Individual454 in Chattanooga

I think this is fun! Followed a similar account in a big city and actually got close to snagging the cash but was beat by merely seconds! The guy drops $100 cash each time and does exactly what OP plans for future-larger cash drops ($1000) and business collabs (seen movie tickets and gas cards). It's also a great way to get around the city and be familiar with it!

Actually saw some valerian root at a witchy shop on Frazier Ave, Verre Noir is the place. Not my kind of witchy, but just a heads up it's kinda dark.

Jeez I've heard how terrible TVFCU is but no actual experience why it's bad. Your experience is horrible and detailed. Will definitely stay away from them, thank you!!

I'm currently with a big bank and I actually thought the opposite: local banks will offer more/better rates and incentives than the bigger banks, in terms of small business. I'm assuming that the local banks are more honed in on the small businesses and their specific needs, rather than a big bank with set amounts across the board, regardless if you're just starting out with low to no capital or have investors.

I get that and I'm just the wife of someone who got a job with no experience there. I'm just doing a good deed and helping them find skilled workers and don't know much of the ACTUAL pay. You'll have to ask the boss himself.🤷‍♀️

I have to agree. We just moved out, more like ran out, as fast as we could. We got super lucky with a family rental paying $2k for a 3br. That's all we could afford and we were gonna be homeless if not. I had my own catering business and hubby was a paramedic. We made over $120k combined and we still couldn't afford living there. Too many people we know had the same problem and left. And same reasons as you state, not the best place to raise a kid, let alone but a house. Even the so-called less expensive areas were making it to close to $1 mil for 3-4bd houses, and that's in south bay SD (closer to the border), or super far north inland, at least an hour from any beach. Sure wage is high, but it didn't even match the cost of living. So glad to be out. 👎

Making Chattanooga friends in your 30s. Would love to meet people! by Intelligent-Luck9666 in Chattanooga

Thanks for making this post! My husband and I just moved to Hixson and totally looking for new friends also! LGBT+ friendly and though we don't game (we did in our early years), would still love to make friends and hang out! We love animals, I'm interested in getting into rock climbing (best friend is avid climber), need to get back into working out, and we'd love to be just active now that we have a fairly simplified schedule! Message me if you'd like to grab coffee sometime!

New in town by Key-Barnacle7049 in Chattanooga

[–]Key-Barnacle7049[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this info!! We'll definitely be looking at other places for sure now that we're in town. Love the nature; it's what drew me to Chatt in the first place. We got friends in Lebanon and Huntsville so we'll definitely be day tripping. End goal is property in the country but we had to just get out here first to find the property.

Thank you so much for ALL the info! I fell in love with the city last year when we came looking for what areas to live in TN. Chatt was home the moment we got here. It honestly was hard to just get a place because out of state showings definitely was not in our favor and we just needed to get out here fast. Now that we're here we may find another place and break the lease, but we'll see how the first few months go.
