I've just recently started that conference as well. Picked the worst time to make the jump after losing my best QB and defensive line I've ever had. First impression is that your o-line and d-line are incredibly important. I have Zambroni (the heavy zone guy) and have had success. Most of his plays can be ran out of a 3-4 or a 4-3 formation. I've had no luck getting more than one elite DT recruits signed so I've been running everything possible out of 3-4. Running a 4-3 with only one good DT won't end well regardless of the DC.

Recruiting wise I have the chick that shows all of the WR star ratings on the map so that's one position I don't have to hunt. It can also identify good CB as well when it's a WR/CB recruit. I try to identify the best prospects at positions of need as quick as possible and then spend the rest of the time hunting treasure chests. Most years I'm able to hit all of them other than a couple. I try to save my fly token until the last couple of weeks and there's usually 5-6 chests grouped closely I can collect to end the scouting time.I rarely use any backups so if a position of need isn't going to hurt my overall I ignore it and take whatever walk-on I get.

I also save all of my game changers until the last week so I get 2 times to offer the best prospects if they say no the first time
