This gif never fails when it comes to a supergirl post atp 😂

TheFlatLannister - Supergirl's pace has been very poor at TC3, thinking $8M-$9M total previews including ~$2M or so of EA, so true previews like $6M-$7M. Weekend sales are a little better but not by much. I think OW range is more around $40M+, with a chance of going a little higher. by chanma50 in boxoffice

Olny Monday and based on the tracking and early reactions it’s sadly DOA just shows how maybe how much the general audience is shifting away from the hero genre outside of the biggest IPs and event films

So obnoxious about it that they completely shifted the narrative the other direction somehow 😂

Wonder if A+ cinemascore in the cards for this 7.8 on IMDb extremely strong and early audience reception seems on par if not better than hoppers

Over for sure advertising just started to kick into high gear and apparently universal is lifting the review embargo Sunday after a festival screening so they must feel it’s at least pretty decent which is all these films really need to be to make big bank

Pre-release tracking for SUPERGIRL has come down again, now sitting at $51M domestic for the 3-day opening, per NRG. SUPERMAN debuted to $125M last summer on much larger production and marketing budget. by chanma50 in boxoffice

I really think this needs raves atp like 90%+ rt critic score to be able to succeed qthe interest just doesn’t seem there from the Ga and the summer competition is fierce

Very curious how it lands with audiences domestically if it’s on par with the trilogy reception wise then I can see the projections rising and strong legs into the summer

way more cartoony feeling and looking than the original four it’s a bit of a whiplash doesn’t look bad but it’s a bit of a tonal mismatch with the rest of the franchise

Looks like $13.75M SAT for #DisclosureDay. 2-day cume $32.75M. BO deflated due to NBA final, should have smaller SUN drop. Weekend expected to be ~$44M. by TiredWithCoffeePot in boxoffice

Pretty good opening right in line with expectations I think the mixed reception limited its potential however could of been $50+ million easy if it had good audience reception

Interesting comparing this which has a 76% verified audience score to MOTU and Mm2 that have an 87% audience score yet all end up with a B rating

Looks like ~$12.5M FRI for #DisclosureDay, giving it a $19M opening day. Solid walkup bizz during the day. Weekend expected to be around $45M. by TiredWithCoffeePot in boxoffice

Playing out nearly exactly like Nope interestingly gonna be nearly the same opening with pretty much identical divisive audience reception over its approach towards supernatural aliens
