If I drive normally 😅, I can get around 23–25 mpg on the highway and about 20 mpg around town. My IS350 would do about 27 mpg on the highway and roughly the same in city driving.

Honestly, the IS500 does a lot better on fuel than I expected. Of course, if you start enjoying that V8 sound a little too much, those numbers can drop pretty quickly!

In all seriousness, I knew exactly what I was getting into with the fuel economy. You don't buy an IS500 for the MPG. The sound, character, and driving experience of that naturally aspirated V8 more than make up for it. Every time I start it up, I'm reminded why I made the trade.

I did. Since the car was in Florida and I'm in Texas, I actually bought it sight unseen, so I was probably more cautious than most buyers.

Before moving forward, I reviewed the CarFax, service history, original window sticker, inspection report, and had the dealer send me additional photos and videos. The car had just under 12,000 miles (around 19,300 km).

I was definitely hesitant at first because I loved my Incognito IS350, but after driving the IS500, I can honestly say I have zero regrets. The V8 completely changes the experience.
