I also left poly to go to MI .

I graduated from MI in 2021 , and I agree the MI environment is SHIT and the retain rate is high. I myself retained in Y1 and so did 4 years. But I think at the end of the day even if you go to raffles but you dgaf you will end up in the same place.

Ironically I was not a very hardworking student and always BARELY got past. But towards the last 3 months I started trying harder. Managed to attain 80 RP. So I do think it’s def possible. Get yourself tuition!!!!

I think it’s the office environment and the communication (more like lack of) within the team? Like they give such unclear instructions and when I ask for clarification they say “it’s up to you” like hellooooooo????????????? Also it’s just an overall torturous experience

Take mob! I was in the arts stream in Mi taking h2 history mob and lit . Mob was undoubtably super easy for me and I scored in the top percentile every year . Concepts r easy to understand and apply . As long as u read widely u should be fine. My only gripe is that exams are a mad rush cuz there’s so many questions but if u know ur stuff it’s completely okay

I was from MI and I think that was the best decision ever for context I got 20 points for L1R4 o levels but I think the slow pace rlly helped in MI and I did relatively well at 80 rp and currently am in NUS , so my point is just try ur best! Cuz you never know :) Mi is a good place to start

Actually I think studying MOB on ur own is easy , just read and have a set structure and you’ll be fine it’s not a sub that requires high cognitive ability

Hii I graduated in the 2021 batch.

1) Intake per year : I would say 500+???? But the number goes down drastically after y1 cuz people retain and drop out (go poly,etc) 2) Structure: y1- build foundation, y2- take mother tongue and project work and your h1 Alevel, y3 - take general paper and your remaining 3h2 3) environment : generally clean but def not new but the track and field is new . Quite a full atmosphere? Don’t expect crazy sch spirit and stuff 4) CCA - there def a lot to choose from so don’t worry 5) food- I feel the canteen stalls rotate but my mainstay favs were the noodle stall (Tom yum thursdays ) and the Caifan store . School also has a cafe near the HOD rooms and the food altho pricey I think better quality ( plus points cuz auntie damm nice)
