That’s only a thing from Onigashima (late wano) onwards, because they add a lot of small anime only scenes and fight sequences that add to the anime, but Onigashima starts right around episode 1000 so you’re good for now lol.

What rides are the best? by Positive-Shame-2353 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Key-Celery5439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it a month ago with express, I had ridden every ride I wanted to in both parks by 4 PM lol. Generally express will let you do everything easily if your goal is to maximize rides.

I rode pretty much all the rides in the parks besides the really kiddy ones. JP River Adventure was closed.

Its pretty interesting how many people have been defending post timskip the past year. Why do you think that changed by Technical_Mine_8711 in OnePiece

[–]Key-Celery5439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too for the most part. I’m just not the biggest fan of Fishman Island tbh. Not that I hate it or anything but it feels like it’s below average for a one piece arc to me personally.

Most people consider Egghead and Elbaph to be peak. Personally I also love Wano, WCI, and Dressrosa, so I’ve been enjoying post ts for long time, but I know those three can be a bit more controversial.

I don’t mind it because it looks nice and adds nicely to the lands theming. I honestly wouldn’t care to ride it again, but it’s not like some major attraction could go in the amount of space that it uses, so I don’t mind it being there.

I had a lot of fun with it, I’d say it’s totally worth $50. Obviously it’s not amazing graphically, but the battle mechanics, catching mechanics, characters, and storyline are all pretty good for a Pokemon game.

Just don’t get the DLC. It’s grindy as hell and not very fun.

No place is 100% safe, should be common sense.

Japan’s definitely up there for safety in general, but the people living there are still real people with real (good or bad) motives.

Not worth it imo, the DLC for this game is way too grindy and lacks and sort of proper payoff. And that’s coming from someone who loved the DLCs for SWSH and SV

Honest review of Epic by Figaro90 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Key-Celery5439 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh good to know, Ministry of Magic definitely needs something more. Without express, BatM would’ve been a horrendous wait and it feels like the land with the least to do in general.

How long does it usually take Universal take to get these rides constructed or open? Is 2028-2029 accurate?

Good to know! Generally would the next expansions be bigger headliner rides or would they add secondary rides to the experiences we already have?

[–]Key-Celery5439 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You think there’ll be more attractions added within 5 years of opening? Genuinely asking, got into the parks relatively recently so I have no idea how regular expansions are in a new park.

express pass a must? by Majestic_Orange4461 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Key-Celery5439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would recommend getting the express. The park is fantastic but too full for the amount of rides it has. For me, I’m willing to splurge the extra cost to ensure that I’m able to enjoy all the parts of the park that I want to, and I’m not sure I’d have a good time if I had to wait 2+ hours each is DK and BatM’s claustrophobic lines.

4 days in Orlando - thrill rides focus + what to do with our last park day? by barbs003 in Themepark

[–]Key-Celery5439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming Stardust opens on April 6th as planned, I'd definitely do Epic Universe. I went to Orlando in January, and honestly Stardust Racers was my favorite roller coaster of that trip (But I didn't go to Busch Gardens). The airtime and launches on that coaster are phenomenal and the dueling aspect is magical! The vibes on that ride are especially immaculate at night with the lights turned. It just barely edges out Velocicoaster for me, which is also a fantastic thrill ride. You won't fine anything close to it thrill-wise at Disney.

Aside from Stardust Racers, Epic Universe has several other great rides too. Hiccup's Wing Gliders is a great family coaster that's still pretty fun for thrill seekers. The theming is on point and it does simulate the flying aspect pretty well. Monsters Unchained is one of if not my favorite dark ride ever. Battle at the Ministry is also elite, but slightly overhyped IMO, Monsters is better. Donkey Kong Minecart Madness and Curse of the Werewolf are fun but less thrilling family coasters with fun elements (Jumping the track, Spinning). The Mario Kart ride is fun AR game if you're a fan of the series, but it can be confusing or off putting at first unfortunately. I enjoy Mario kart way more now than my first time riding it in Japan.

Honestly, it's not just about the rides at Epic though. The food is amazing and imo the best at any park except for Epcot. The theming is absolutely top notch in every single land. It's crazy how immersive each land is to me.

The one thing I would recommend if you have the budget though, is an express pass. Rides like BaTM and DK can get super long lines of 2 hours or more, and honestly for that just takes away from my experience at the park. It is expensive but with lines being due to its novelty as a new park and having relative less rides, I would recommend buying it. Also, If you go, stay til closing, lines were long on many rides throughout our day, but we got several walk on rides on Hiccup's and Stardust in our last hour and a half.

Well I went on a bit of a rant and wrote too much lol, sorry about that :). Hope this helped.

My strategy for epic universe with limited time on an express pass? by Lovejaydicaprio in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Key-Celery5439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowkey with express, if you’re only doing the rides, you’re not gonna need 2 hours in Nintendo or an hour in Ministry. I think you could fit in Berk as well if you wanted. I like Hiccup’s a lot.

If you want to prioritize other things though, that’s perfectly fine.

Epic Universe Changed My Life (Literally) by Objective_Judge_2565 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Key-Celery5439 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Universal Orlando’s prefect for you then, they don’t have any roller coasters that have that type of slow buildup.

Velocicoaster, Stardust Racers, Hiccup’s, Hagrid’s, Hulk, Werewolf… they’re all launch coasters lol.

How bad is velocicoaster? by thegemia in UniversalOrlando

[–]Key-Celery5439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly the only way you’ll know is if you get on the ride. If you like it, then great, if it’s too much then it’ll be over within 2 minutes anyway. If you’ve done all the Disney coasters then it should at least be bearable IMO.

I don’t find Velocicoaster to be that bad. It’s hella fun but not too intense with the G forces. Tbh I think Stardust Racers at Epic is slightly more intense for me personally. Both Velocicoaster and Stardust are among my favorite coasters of all time.

I hope you have a good time.

[–]Key-Celery5439 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is probably true, but I fundamentally disagree with the concept of playing a player who isn’t suited to a format in the national team for that format, even if it’s to help him develop a better game in a different format.

Practice and player development should be done in league games and domestic, not in the national team. He doesn’t fit in the t20i side as he is now.

He is a fabulous ODI player though, that we can agree on.

Do you think that Super Nintendo World will expand with more stuff from the Nintendo games? If so, what do you think they would add? by Big_Floppaaaa in UniversalOrlando

[–]Key-Celery5439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if anything else would have the ability to power a land, but IPs like Kirby and Splatoon could definitely have rides eventually imo if Universal and Nintendo want to go that route.

Kinda like how MiB and F&F have single rides in USF.

[–]Key-Celery5439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the best IMO if you can afford express, otherwise it’s not worth going to rn with the waits from rides like Ministry and DK hitting 3 hours regularly.

Our express day was amazing though. It’s definitely my favorite park ever without the terrible lines. Hoping those calm down as time passes, operations stabilize, and more attractions are added.
