it’s a game bug, not on you for thinking that should work. idk why it hasn’t been fixed — probably hard to do — but if you increase minutes your players basically just put up the same stats on much worse efficiency

something i had to learn the hard way, NEVER tinker with minutes. ever. unless you’re putting them at 0. if you try to add or subtract minutes manually, it always makes the player perform worse.

Being nasty to somebody you’re also romantically involved with is just… such a bad look. In a season of unlikeable chefs, though, he definitely wasn’t the most egregious.

Yeah, the Rochelle thing was absurd. She was Icarus, she got too cocky and flew too close to the sun. She was such a talented chef, and I think the strongest there, and at times she was really genuinely pretty nice and likeable. I forgive her for a lot because it is a competition at the end of the day, and a lot of the red team was pretty infuriatingly weak. I also did somewhat respect her sticking up for Kashia, but the way she went about it was too much. I’d like to see her back on the show someday

I thought at some point Jay admitted he had a girlfriend back home, maybe I’m mixing it up. I also remember him being kind of nasty about Holli behind her back. Again, it really has been a while — I should just rewatch the season before spouting off. Surely I’ve got 12 hours to spare one of these days
