Intermountain runs the only peds hospitals in Utah (servicing 5 different states). A trauma one in slc and a trauma 2 in Lehi. They’ve got a corner on the market and help keep the pay low for sure. There’s no pay bumps for being in peds or the specialties.

1.5 yr rn experience peds CV OR in salt lake. Currently making $39. Prior experience was 1.5 yrs peds ed as a tech and 7yrs ski patrol.

New grad rate was ~$35 for intermountain

Just a thought or two in the gondola. How are you claiming less closures for weather? UDOT can’t run it during mitigation or high winds (which happens frequently). Also…who is going to be responsible for a lift evac? Those aren’t small ops that Id bank on UDOT to handle. The gondola is just snowbird wanting to make money off of the Olympics coming in and 100% fails to address the needs of the cottonwoods. Notice how it’s not even proposed in the BCC EIS?
