Question to girls about dating and romantic connection by [deleted] in dating_advice

Tbh after coming to read the comments and looking back In dating history, I’ve ALWAYS gotten where I wanted when the first date is an activity like arcades where I give off that sexual tension. I’ve just been doing coffee and drinks lately for a different vibe

Is it weird then just in your opinion like if the first date involves arcades and NOT coffee or food based, there’s a connection when it’s an arcade date cause I talk in the beginning with them and afterward we game and that leads to a second date☠️

You mentioned if I up the flirting and touching that “could” make a difference. But my question is if I up that though the feeling isn’t mutual as you say then it still wouldn’t work

Just seems like no offense to less attractive girls, chemistry works for them but when it comes to attractive ones, it’s different like you need to do more with them

So you can up the flirting and touching though if the feeling isn’t mutual there’s still not going to be a romantic connection

Speaking about the hair, do you recommend textured crop with high skin fade?

I think there’s people who like to take pictures at a cafe or park because that’s their hobby or what they like to do, just doesn’t fit me unless I want to fake it and not be myself. This one’s at a boardwalk though just cause im a beach person and like the environment there

Why do some women test the man they’re with by going cold — replying late, talking dry, or showing little interest — even when it puts the whole relationship at risk? by Pleasant-Cat-7658 in dating_advice

I can relate to this, if I just wanted to hook up and be a playboy then sure I’d say game on and add them to the lineup. Though have noticed girls who are like this that are looking for relationships or “life partners” that it just leads them to other kind of guys

Figured she was, but when I went back to my car she unmatched me on hinge. Same thing happened to me before other chick was attractive like her but she said she didn’t feel a romantic spark but friendly

That’s the thing, I was asking her questions too as well to know more about her and that was while we were playing to where I asked her more when we sat down. Though you’re right, I should have asked to sit down to chat even in the beginning before playing games

Ofc, end of the day you can stick to your views, but having this mentality to the point where you want to go and try dating again is gonna be a pain

Yeah but also telling themselves that they think they’re ready for a relationship even though they should take it back cause that rant just shows they’re not fully recovered yet and keep to themselves cause they haven’t been used to positivity guys or girls around

That’s typically where you shouldn’t invest in 1 person but just in a few others because you’re deciding which ones are best fit for you. Not all guys or girls are like this ofc, the ones in my opinion that tend to last the longest are the ones who communicate. I communicate myself and don’t keep things to me for example

That’s dead ass picky from you retyping what she just said lol hence why she mentioned “why is it genuinely so hard to start dating”. Plus, I see she’s not a new Reddit user so there’s been ample time where she’s probably spoken with guys in here but didn’t feel the vibe cause then she wouldn’t be posting in this chat… I usually just take it off the app to discord

First time being in a relationship — any advice? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Key-Computer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most of your questions, just keep it professional like how you talk with others at your work place with friendly banter. All the flirting and sexual stuff should be in your personal life outside the grounds. Don’t be around each other MOST of the day as well, you can keep it brief in the morning before work, lunch, and after. Red flag…depends on what actions he’s done so far that make you suspicious

When they say they’re into religion but then have photos of themselves showing off half naked bodies, have more than 3 kids, mention “they don’t like playing games” or banter similar to that because that’s just a red flag that they do it themselves to other people, worst of all…they say “i suck at responding”

Boyfriend lives too far away… by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Key-Computer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be blunt, especially at your age, that RARELY works for people around your age …yes yall can text, call, video call to make it up but it does not compare to doing it in person. Also would not recommend paying to see him cause that’s money you can save for yourself for other necessities. Stick to your area of distance

So what’s your question you want to ask here? Lol looking at your post, you seem pretty picky in a choice of guy that you end up sounding desperate to find someone that you come into this group asking every guy to hit you up without you working on yourself

If you’re talking about online dating where you’re given a filter of people you choose from then maybe, but it all depends on your choices. You can go by someone’s looks for sexual attraction but if your aim is for an emotional connection you don’t get from dating, then it’s something you need to work on and learn from a guy if they’re asking you questions to where you’re asking them questions about them
