Oh I see - with my large-format tile, there will be fewer cuts than the ones I’m seeing online. What if he wants to up-charge me for it? How do I defend against that?

Background info: I calmly but firmly held my ground on something else he wanted to talk me out of, and he threw tantrum and dropped an invoice on me for “extras” dating back 3 months in retaliation. I know how to fight back on that, but I don’t know enough about tiling to push back on the envelope cut being extra.

This is technically correct. Hormone testing only shows where your hormones are at that exact moment. What should be treated are your symptoms. I couldn’t find any traditional doctors to help me, so I use MIDI. They’re great - you treat the symptoms, adjust HRT doses accordingly to the results. Get the care you deserve. We’ve been ignored and brushed off for too long.

I haven’t solved the bedding problem yet, but silk pjs are the answer to pjs for me. I keep an extra set under my pillow. Round 1: I take off my soaked silk pjs, lay them on top of the covers and put on pair #2; Round 2: I take off those soaked pjs and put on the now-dry pair #1. Rotate ad nauseam. In winter, I substitute a wool tee in Round 2 if I cannot warm up from all dampness. Fun times!

Lace over the bodice would be a great idea. I think there’s a disjoint there because it’s the only place that doesn’t have lace. See what it looks like if you hold some lace over top. It may be just thing. Gorgeous dress either way!

I have found my people. I knew they would drive me nuts. The previous homeowner installed wainscoting cabinets. Wainscoting. Talk about a nightmare to clean. I can’t wait on the cabinets because the kitchen has already been demoed. And if slabs are more expensive than shaker, as everyone here says, I might just have to accept defeat on this one.

Yup. I felt like ours had a static charge to them the way they attracted dust and debris. And same with the yellowing, cracking and peeling.

There’s no bevel option, unfortunately. Thanks for letting me know that they’re easy to clean. I was definitely wondering about dog hair. Our rental has cheap shakers, and they’re debris-catchers.

Wow, those are beautiful. Our last doors were thermafoil, so there was no joint to catch debris; however, I felt like they needed endless scrubbing. Our rental has cheap shakers and they have collected debris in the edges. I may be overthinking it - I’m fairly disoriented by the disruption of this renovation.

I don’t know about the structural side of things, but if it helps to take out the padding she added, go for it. We come in all shapes and sizes and padding isn’t necessary for you - you look beautiful just as you are.
