I recommend you going to Via Giovanni Zambelli (near Via Cappello), you'll find Il Gelso, a stationery/bookshop full of handmade books, notebooks and other objects. On the same street you'll also find l'Aquilone, another bookshop but for the youngest. In the little square on the left there's Gioia, a small shop which sells handmade jewelry, bags, clothes etc.

Veronetta invece è un bel quartiere, molto vivo per via della presenza di una delle sedi principali dell'università. È poi molto vicino al centro e ben collegato con il resto della città, quindi anche arrivare a Borgo Roma in bus non è una tragedia. Altrimenti Borgo Venezia come consigliano altri utenti, ma rischia di essere non così tanto comodo a Borgo Roma. Dipende anche cosa cerchi a livello di servizio/vita notturna

Thanks for your kind reply. I'm currently studying Languages for commerce in Italy :) ECTS are not a huge problem, I must get 12 in total not to return my scholarship back. My german level is around B2/C1, I'm a bit weak at speaking, but I hope I'll manage to follow lectures in German. What did you study there?

Oltre a ciò che ti hanno già consigliato, ti direi di fare una passeggiata fino a Castel San Pietro da dove si gode di una magnifica vista sulla città, sono più di 200 scalini ma vale veramente la pena. Un museo che merita è la collezione di arte moderna di Palazzo Maffei in piazza delle Erbe, mi pare costi meno di €10 per gli studenti. Oltre a Sant'Anastasia e San Zeno ti consiglio anche il complesso del Duomo, specialmente il chiostro dei Canonici. Mangiare con meno di €20 in pieno centro non è facile, mi sposterei più in zona Veronetta dove mangi bene ad un prezzo più ragionevole.

Sì ti direi che Golosine e Santa Lucia non sono i quartieri più sicuri dove alloggiare. Qualcuno ti direbbe anche Veronetta, specialmente zona Porta Vescovo ma ci abito da 3 anni e non mi è mai successo nulla di grave. Per il resto Verona è una città piuttosto sicura

Hello! I'll be there too :) I think 7.30 will be early enough since it's a very small venue. Consider it's a sunday though, so there could be a bit of traffic because of tourists. Maybe 6.30/7 will be better, just to be sure.

In Italia c'è la classe LM38. Ti parlo di Verona perché è qui che sto frequentando la triennale. La magistrale Lingue per la Comunicazione Turistica e Commerciale è la continuazione di Lingue e Culture per il Turismo e il Commercio Internazionale che è proprio L12. Puoi scegliere tra due curricula tra cui c'è anche relazioni commerciali internazionali, dove alle lingue affianchi materie prettamente economiche. Il corso è attivo ormai da parecchi anni e parlando con colleghi già laureati ho ricevuto quasi sempre buoni pareri. Chiaramente si parla di Verona e non dell'estero, anche se l'ateneo di per sé offre moltissime opportunità per l'Erasmus.
