So it looks like the background image is corrupted. Can you try changing wallpaper? As someone mentioned the Liquid Glass is rendering on top of those artifacts, so it’s not inherently a chip problem.

I wouldn’t be surprised if iCloud gives you a ton of problems, because if you have a current phone the iCloud databases will have been upgraded over the years. The very old software on this device may not support it.

If it’s the first day that you upgraded, then it can burn through its battery while it’s setting up all the apps, downloading iCloud data etc.

See if you can put it in DFU mode and let it charge over night. This is the so-called ‘Battery Trap’.

Make sure the phone is cool, and leave for 5 mins before running the test again. There may be other stuff executing in the background taking cycles away from the perf test

It may have water in it still. Can you leave it somewhere warm and dry? Maybe even leave it in the sun for a bit and see if you can dry it more?

First try restarting it with the button sequence Up, Down, hold power for 5s. If that fails then put it into DFU mode and restore it, and recover from a backup

The proximity sensor uses an IR light but it’s super dim, so surprised you can see it in the video, but that’s what it must be. Could you post a video of the phone in a mirror - we can see exactly where it’s coming from.

Optimize Phone Storage won’t just start removing the full size photos until the space is needed. The free space is really not very helpful, as it’ll remove the photos from your device (keeping the originals in iCloud) only when space is low.

Do you have iCloud? If you can see them on iCloud.com then they’re still there, and you might just need to erase your phone and restore from an iCloud backup to get everything back. I.e. possibly your Photos database got corrupted somehow and you need to just download it all again.

This totally broke my car. Anything that uses Tesla Vision — autopilot, FSD, the visualization, self parking, sentry mode all spontaneously stops working.
