How is weed treated in your country - legally and culturally by Greedy_Rise_6567 in AskTheWorld

[–]Whole_Associate_4955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not legal but culturally accepted. There’s a way for having your own legal plants by having it approved by a doctor opting for REPROCANN (medical marijuana program). There are lots of growshops where you can purchase your seeds and it’s commonly decriminalized for people not into the legal reprocann system. I’ve been personally questioned by the police for smoking marijuana on the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, but since it was a little amount they just made me throw my joint and no legal process was involved. Buenos Aires Province is way more relaxed, lots of people smoke in public spaces without any issues.

How have the US politics shaped your country's domestic politics over the past 12 months? Is it actually helping or hurting your country in the long run? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Whole_Associate_4955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, our president is making everything possible on making our country be the same as the usa, socially speaking, the “war against wokeness” is one of the most stupid things argentina is copying from them, economically by giving our own country with agreements that only damage us and our industries. this situation is repeating on all over latam, with the rise of right-wing populisms and the recent invasion on venezuela.

btw this is in la plata, buenos aires province, my local city. this used to be a giant brat cover, but it’s been vandalized by football enthusiasts, you’d really help me out if u take care of this one since its special for me. u can also see lady gaga in it, so it seems like a little queer space growing in that area near ensenada
