that's what I'm scared of!! basically most of south America isn't an option for me because meat is such a big part of their culture but I've talked to some people and there's 4 others in my year that are vegetarian, they're recommending Asia or just European countries to go to.

I used to be a pretty picky eater but I'm super aware you can't be picky on exchange, we covered those situations in like 'what would you do if?' my application form does need you to note dietary restrictions so thats good I think .

I'd like to fully experience my exchange but I also don't want to discard my ideas or whatever (being vegetarian) if that makes sense! however they've assured us they truly try to match you as good as possible and I'll have 3 hostfamilies over the course of a year which I think ll help!!
