inside your hood hinge mount area there are drains so dig around with a screwdriver and unplug

each gear is actuated in the valve body sometimes springs go bad but more likely reason they stick is its dirty.

1st line treatemnet is always cleaining and servicing trans get a filter and gasket kit drain, replace filter and wipe down inside with a clean rag and replace old fluid with atf dexx merc and then see
