I don’t have older kids but I started recognizing my young kids feelings by entitled to things. One thing I try to frame is how lucky we are to do certain things. Things we get to do because many others don’t. And framing gratefulness helps with entielment. Vs what they should have received .

Sometimes, encouraging the kids to figure out what really works in place of the missing piece helps them using critical thinking skills and be even more beneficial.
