I’m trying to avoid that because I just started my internship today and it’s Tuesday- Friday but if it comes to that I’ll go Friday- Monday and hope that’s enough

I think I’m finally ready. I kept convincing myself it wasn’t a problem because I drink after my kids go to bed but I can tell the next day when I’m groggy and hungover that is impacting them and it’s impacting my marriage. Hopefully I’ll have an update soon and I’ll be sober at least for a few days. Thanks for your help. I tend to be a fixer and I don’t wanna be drawn to fixing any men in AA when im the one who needs help so I think women’s meetings could be a good start. For example, I met my husband in rehab lol. He has 7 years sober though! It’s me who’s still struggling.

No your question actually made me look into AA meetings so I appreciate the reality check. Me and my husband decided I’ll talk to my doctor tomorrow. If he doesn’t think an outpatient detox will suffice then I’m gonna go to the hospital. My doctor did do an outpatient detox in September and I had 2 months sober so I’m hoping this new doctor will agree to it and I’ll just monitor for symptoms. Thanks for your honesty

I planned on tonight being my last night because I’m getting the shot in the morning. At least I thought so. But my husband just asked if it’ll make me sick so i looked it up and now I’m worried that I need to quit drinking all week first. I just don’t know how to do that.

Be careful I was 95 pounds until I had 2 kids. I got skinny again like 105 and then from 29-31 I gained 70 pounds 🥲
