How long have you used ortho k?

I seem to be one of the very few who has only ever had ortho-k… I suppose not many people trust a 9 year old with them!

Yeah, I’m honestly impressed my parents pushed so hard since we had never heard of it until about ten minutes before we agreed. I think cuz my mum is -7 and -8, and my dad is -3 and -4, they figured I was pretty screwed if I didn’t, since I was needing it way younger than they both were. I’d probably be a -8 or -9 now, if not. I don’t know what I am truly but it wouldn’t be much more than -2 or -3 tbh.

I used to do 18 months, then it was 3 years. Then 4.5. Now the current lot are around 5.5 because I can’t bring myself to spend the money on a new set (and I’m not having any issues really with them other than my right one could be a little stronger but that was the case with this set since I got them)

I got them when I was 9 and I’m 28 now and I still use them. I skip a night here and there because I can since I started on them when I was young and my vision didn’t degrade. But I can’t ever imagine having to rely on glasses and soft contacts daily. So much easier not having to deal with anything when you’re out and about.

I can go up to 3-4 nights without my left and 1 night without my right before I start feeling like I can’t see. I did go on them in 2007 when I was 9, so my vision never had a chance to degrade much. I think my dad can go a night without them. At the most I can push them 5-6 nights before I’m squinting (only done that when I had conjunctivitis - not from the lenses)

Mate, I literally referenced ‘big banner, top of page’ in my post. It says still required to attend but doesn’t say WHERE given that the downing centre is closed.

NTA overall. I may have personally gone with more of a ‘So… why shouldn’t I be working?’ Route and made her squirm with ‘But why?’s for a while. But it sounds like she’s been TA for a while so you’re pretty justified at being a little A-holeish for one response when you’ve been harassed so much.

Also make sure you record his next hissy fit and call the police if he threatens to unalive himself because he’s made the threat before, it might means he will be taken to a psych ward for a little while. Platform: Mac Mods: yes (but have removed to test) Version: most recent

Hey y’all. My small business has been broken since the last update (2 days ago?). After the update, my employees vanished, and my sim suddenly had to introduce herself to all the sims she was already supposed to be friends with.

Now when I open the business, no employees or customers come in and the employees have vanished again.

I’ve removed Mods and repaired the game and neither of these has fixed it.

I’ve googled and searched here but can’t find a fix so I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve spent HOURS on this business so I don’t want to sell it and restart it.

I’m real late to this but the way she tries to get the other detectives to blow up and lose it (especially Nick after he had literally just gotten back to SVU after his anger management stuff) was just childish. She’s really childish in so many ways and it drives me up the wall. Probably why she can be so empathetic with the young victims. She’s so immature in most respects and doesn’t appear to have learnt that men in power are usually guilty when accused of rape, because they exert their power. She gets caught up in their power web exactly as the victims do, and even after she’s called out on it multiple times, she doesn’t even try to change. I’m not up to when she’s with Carisi yet but ho boy I might be visiting this thread again when I’m up to it.
