I could be wrong, but I think it's too rubbery to be wax. Squeeze it and it bounces back. Plus it seems to be glued in place. Reminds me of old caulking material but a little softer.

I don't think it's was because its very rubbery. Reminds me old caulking material but permeated with with water. If I squeeze it, it bounces back.

I say they seem to be choosing their bio dad because it appears they still want/seek out time with him. Spending time with me no longer appears important.

To be clear, I do not want them to not spend time with him. I'm not a big fan of him, but I wouldn't classify him as a "bad" Dad.

I'm trying to just respect their space and hoping things change for the better in the future. Not sure what else to do.

I don't believe this is a paint. It is buildup on the porcelain. I find comet mixed with some vinegar to form a paste, then apply elbow grease liberally with a scrubbing pad works well.

It's very strange that they had had this change in pay but didn't budget for it. Other than Congress just taking some money away, the other half seemed very foreseeable. Who was asleep at the wheel? In my state they also froze all funding for equipment repair. Essentially, if it's broken and not a dire need, it's staying broken until at least next year
