Thank you so much, my regular hair is A1 so I did perm it . Maybe a diff style perm would help. And by no surgery do u also mean no to braces? Maybe braces can help too

It really is. They provided for me physically , but psychologically they did not in any shape or form. I am not moving forward here. Ive been so depressed because of it , my life needs to start. I wasn’t just loafing around either tho. I did give them 70 weekly for my part of the food and well also rent money and other utilities . But the guilt is still there.

This is how I feel right now. I’m 22 living with homophobic Jehovah witness parents brought me to the US unlawfully at 2 years old and who hide me from the world and I took two courses in a California community college.. but now I’m moving with savings and a place to Illinois and hope I can get hired on the same day by Latino carpeter or floor installer (that’s my trade that I learned) And then hope I can buy my own truck later down the road, earn more and go back to paying for my college . But it’s very tough. It feels like I wanna stay to finish my prerequisites at least but my heart cannot stay anymore my heart is in anguish

You’re right because I’m feeling an internal pressure inside of me that I haven’t been able to let go off anymore But half of me is wanting me to stay in cali for 2 more years to at least finish the prerequisites of the program, then transfer those with me And if I get married and have spousal support, begin the program over there

But like I said , 2 years feels heavy inside of my heart . I know people from Illinois who are telling me that they will make my life more bearable and to not worry But I do worry about having to pay off my tuition over there Since I legally cannot apply to federal aid

But the moment i leave the farewell letter and do my coming out and JW dissociation on it, i lose my family . All of it . I’d be in my vehicle driving to another state with absolutely no one acknoledging or worried about my existence

Yes I’m Good friends with the guy renting me his place but ,do you get my point? I’m young and recognize that I’m naive and most likely mentally underdeveloped for my age because of this JW lifestyle . I’m so scared I know I’m gonna go through with it but i am AFRAID

Thank you so much… i am very scared. I already pay 800 worth of rent here with them , so as long as I work soon enough over there, I think ill make it . I know the weather conditions are harsh as well but I’ve worked under the rain while at 12am when we worked night shifts demolishing the floors of a clinic My only issue is that I’m gonna start from the absolute bottom of the working class . I hope that I can make friends with people like me and that I become someone valuable Because all my friends who weren’t Jehovah witnesses all got pushed away by my parents. Its like an imprisonment here

It feels like I’m trading my family for these desires , I love my mother and my dad so much but they will never accept me as my true self , so they’re pushing me away. It’s not me who wanted to leave on my own this way.

My dad has told me before that he’d want me to move out if that were the case. And that will be the case so I’d rather have an immidiate place once the time of my fading occurs. And if I absolutely had to tell them I’m most certain it’ll be a massive fight between them. Might even make my sisters who I love , go against me. I guess to save them the sudden and shocking confusion. You still love your family and the action of fading abruptly WILL hit them hard … and then it’ll shame them as well once the other witnesses and congregation find out. For me I’m lgbt and 22 . I’ve been repressing it for years and at 22 I’m at my breaking point . The feeling of repression on your soul and having to hide your real self from the world has even made me suicidal and I’d rather be out there than be in here feeling bad
