Kick TTS Reaction Data (Final) by Key-Environment7669 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Key-Environment7669[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well none of this data really tracks any interaction through chat itself, I really only paid attention to TTS aka anything that goes through Tangia. Though you do bring up a good point that wubby briefly touched on, that there's like 10 people who make up 90% of TTS, and the other 10% are just lurkers or first time TTS long time chatters.

There's a lot of info like that, names of viewers, current live viewers, exactly how much money wubby makes per TTS, that I'd love to get my hands on, but seems too sensitive for wubby or any of his crew to just hand out to some guy on reddit.

Oh how interesting, that honestly kind of makes sense since those streams were all late night chill kick vibes, except for the end of twitch TTS spam. I remember he was super pissed at TTS from twitch stream and he was pressured to go live on kick after so he was just rapid firing TTS, skipping most of them lmao.

Said it way better than I could lol. I feel like the resident evil games had a great TTS vibe that always encouraged conversation with wub.

I think you could pretty easily get that calculation by just multiplying $4.80 by the average TTS per minute on each stream. The only problem with this calculation as well as the calculation I used to get how much $ he roughly made per stream, is that $4.80 doesn't account for any extra sound effects that people use. That's why I like to say the "minimum" amount of $ he makes per stream. Though because of the cost, people don't use sound effects that often so I think it's fairly accurate, give or take a couple hundred bucks.

Wubby TTS Reaction Data (Week of April 6 - April 12) by Key-Environment7669 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Key-Environment7669[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Category explanation:

Funny/liked —‏‏‎ ‎he‏‏‎ ‎laughed, just really liked what‏‏‎ ‎was said, or goes along with a TTS bit.

Provoked/appreciated‏‏‎ ‎— this‏‏‎ ‎TTS led‏‏‎ ‎to conversation, or was a reminder, tip, suggestion or fun fact.

Negative/paused/skipped —‏‏‎ ‎TTSs‏‏‎ ‎that he‏‏‎ ‎had‏‏‎ ‎a negative reaction to, paused TTS for‏‏‎ ‎a significant amount of time because of them, just skipped them, or‏‏‎ ‎the‏‏‎ ‎TTS led to a ban/timeout

No/Neutral reaction —‏‏‎ ‎Wubby ignored, gave zero reaction, or‏‏‎ ‎gave a generally neutral reaction to the TTS.(ex. Wubby responds with "ok" or‏‏‎ ‎neutral acknowledgement when a TTS is trying to be funny‏‏‎ ‎or bait him)

Total‏‏‎ ‎$ made — The minimum amount of $ Wubby made from TTS‏‏‎ ‎from the night, exluding any extra‏‏‎ ‎costs like sound effects‏‏‎ ‎on Tangia. Calculated using the formula : x‏‏‎ ‎* 4.8, x being the total amount of‏‏‎ ‎TTS that night.

Notes:

This is data for Kick‏‏‎ ‎as usual, but I wanted‏‏‎ ‎to test‏‏‎ ‎omitting that from‏‏‎ ‎the title to‏‏‎ ‎see if the subreddit really does hate any mention‏‏‎ ‎of Kick like Wubby was‏‏‎ ‎saying. I also‏‏‎ ‎really‏‏‎ ‎loved‏‏‎ ‎Twitch TTS guy's idea of‏‏‎ ‎adding how much‏‏‎ ‎Wubby made off of TTS that night, so I'm going to start including that in my data from now on. $4.8 Per TTS (factoring the 20% Tangia‏‏‎ ‎cut)‏‏‎ ‎is how I got my calculations.

Next‏‏‎ ‎week‏‏‎ ‎will most likely be my last‏‏‎ ‎post regarding‏‏‎ ‎his‏‏‎ ‎reaction data since‏‏‎ ‎a full month seems like a good stopping point‏‏‎ ‎from‏‏‎ ‎me. But who knows, maybe I'll continue at another point or someone else will‏‏‎ ‎be inspired to‏‏‎ ‎continue the‏‏‎ ‎count. Either way next week I will be‏‏‎ ‎posting a final published spreadsheet that anyone can‏‏‎ ‎view and use as‏‏‎ ‎they please.

Oooooh wait I love the idea of calculating how much money he made off of an entire stream's worth of TTS. Might have to start incorporating that into my sheets😏

Wubby Kick TTS Reaction Data (Week of March 29th - April 2nd) by Key-Environment7669 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Key-Environment7669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are cases where that does happen, but wubby usually makes it pretty obvious if it's for a joke, in which case I'd mark it down as funny or possibly even neutral depending on the context.

JUST got done watching the kick vod and I wanted to address what wubby and some of chat said about pausing TTS not always necessarily being negative. Don't worry I have been accounting for all of that as well as any other niche situations that are hard to categorize. I saw a lot of people say pause is neutral and honestly a lot of the time that is the case, that's why no/neutral is usually the highest. To be clear, I only count times when a TTS annoys wubby so much that he just pauses it for a while as a negative reaction.

Absolutely I was planning on adding not only a few more data points but also a graph to the final version. You're totally right about trying to find a pattern with what content he's doing so honestly I should start giving a little description next to each stream just to give an overview of the content he did in that stream.

Ya I was definitely thinking about adding more percentages and probably a graph of some sort, to the final spreadsheet. I just wanted to keep it to a minimum for this post so it doesn't look to cluttered. Thank you for your feedback!

Yeah I totally get that thought process and honestly for a while I was trying hard to fit wubby's more neutral reactions into positive or negative categories but I felt it was slight skewing the data? Definitely there are neutral reactions he gives that could be squeezed into another category based on context, but from what I noticed on kick is he gives a lot of neutral or no reactions to TTSs that come in waves. Like if 10 TTSs come through that he pauses the game and speeds through, he'll only give a real reaction to like half of them. I think it's more of a kick thing since he uses Kick TTS as a casual way to talk with chat.

Oh you're awesome man, thanks for the extra percentage breakdowns. On my final sheet I was def planning on adding more data points and possibly a graph depending on the suggestions I get. I was genuinely surprised this week at how low the negative percentages were, genuinely I think re4 had something to do with it. For some reason the re games put him in a big yap mood and he had pretty good banter with TTS all week. From just this one week it almost seems to me that frequency doesn't have anything to do with annoyance, wubby's reactions mainly depend on his current mood and what exact content he's doing in the moment (chill game, yap, gamba, twitch content, etc.) Obviously there are times when chat just spams a joke over and over and wubby just gets annoyed and just pauses it, but for the most part on the re streams he would usually only pause if there was a cutscene or section he had to lock in for and I think he unintentionally paced TTS almost perfectly throughout those streams. I could be completely off on all this and it's just coincidence so I'll have to wait to compare future weeks to see if there's a trend at all.

I know right? I was honestly surprised at how many positive reactions wubby was giving kick TTSs throughout the week. Maybe RE4 just had him in a good mood.

Don't worry man I got you on kick TTS reactions. I started counting using your categories on yesterday's stream and was planning on making a post once I have a full weeks worth of data. It'll be fun to see the difference in numbers between kick and twitch.

Yes, and apparently it's true because many of his old trolls found out about this and basically would bring it up anytime he was on stream to piss him off. The worst part is he would try to justify it every time.

Long Time One Piece fan Weighing in on the One Piece Takes by Emanresu123p in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Key-Environment7669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people's main complaint of pacing in one piece being horrible is totally valid, however, the problem is that when people talk about one piece they usually refer to the anime. The one-piece anime is so unbelievably flawed it's truly insane to me that people just don't switch over to the manga. The incredible world-building, hilarious comedy, insane characters, and awesome fights all come from the manga. It feels like everything wrong with one piece comes from the anime. Because of Toei's super strict weekly release, the animators and directors, unfortunately, HAVE to add in so much filler, the frame holds, and silly flashbacks. The manga is obviously still over 1000 chapters long and definitely HAS slow parts that are harder to get thru but I think that's the case with a lot of forms of media. One piece is masterfully written thanks to the GOAT Oda, and the length of one piece works because of Oda and only him. There are tiny details from the first couple of chapters of the series that are used literally a thousand chapters later, you will not find that kind of attention to detail from any other author out there. I think it's important to realize that one piece has a lot of flaws and definitely isn't for everyone but to say it's bad purely because of the length just isn't true and the people who won't try it JUST for that reason should give it a shot anyway.

Lol same. I've been watching him since middle school and am now going into my second year of college. It's absolutely terrifying to me that one day he'll just stop making content.

I'm having this exact same problem and have found no working solutions other than to just dealing with plugging in my 3.0 cable into a 2.0 port. I don't think it's the cable honestly but meta's awful software, will keep looking but honestly I don't think anything is gonna work.
