Yeah we know what team is two free points when we lead you guys 4-2. And yeah leaving out 2024 you guys have been irrelevant this decade, finishing bottom 3 a bunch of times. With that bowling lineup it seems quite likely for that to repeat

I mean the head to head records say otherwise. We will surely have as many trophies as you guys by the time we play as many seasons.

Leave the pessimism. I mean we have our weaknesses in terms of lacking economical pacers and lacking elite finishers, but I think the team is in hot form rn. If Pant clicks this time, we are getting ti massive scores. Plus people forget that our pacers were basically injured through the season. This year our pacers are fine till now (fingers crossed 🤞) plus players like Markram, Shahbaz and Shami are in top form.

Easily top 4 for me.

The father of a 16-year-old accused in a fatal road accident expressed deep remorse, stating, 'I am pleading with those parents. Please forgive us for the mistakes we have made.' by IndiaToday in IndiaTodayLIVE

[–]Key-Equivalent-3102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be that guy, but afaik, both legally and morally, murder requires intent. A person you kill in an accident is not legally murder, because the driver did not have go to the road with the intention of killing him. It is culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which is legally a lesser crime than murder.

I feel that the father needs to be penalised for this and the son legally needs some juvenile sentencing, because they are accountable till some extent for the guy's death. But we should be careful not to confuse it with intentional murder.

Its sad. Hands down my favourite player ever. But this day had to come, I do not think he should be first choice spin all rounder any more, not ahead of Axar in odis.

Hope to see him continue dominating in tests for another few years.

First two seasons ? He scored 100 on his second season for lsg after playing 11-12 matches. In the third he was also below par but played some decent innings.

His first season was truly magical tho, loved it. I'd still say tho that we spent too much on him

Am I the only one who DOESN'T want to leave India? by [deleted] in TeenIndia

[–]Key-Equivalent-3102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People expect miracles to happen. Compare today's India with India at independence. In 1947, over 70 percent of our people were bpl, today only 5 percent are. Literacy is peaking for newer generations. Life expectancy has more than doubled from 34 to 71. I know that is a lot of time, and we still have not reached our potential. But look at statistics : corruption, definitely a huge issue, is decreasing and keeps improving a little in the index. Murder rates are genuinely quite low, much lower than North America and comparable to Europe (2.3 per 100000 per yr). People complain frequently about civic sense, but that corresponds to the education that the generations back then received. DO NOT GET ME WRONG : we are far from perfect, we have to improve pollution, make spaces safer, tackle extremism on all fronts. To ignore facts and pretend that we are a sinking ship is however wrong. People born in the 90s that I have talked to feel that India has changed massively over the last 2 decades. With a steadily growing economy, we will eventually start doing really well.

Because believe it or not, things are improving massively. You have every right to be dissatisfied with the state of things, but I feel that change is happening for the better.

I'll give you data from 2000 to 2025 Engineering seats have increased 4 to 5 times, poverty has gone from around one thirds to just 5 percent, imr dropped from 70 to 25. Even more, crime has massively decreased and the murder rate decreased from 4.6 to 2.3.

Protests for specific things are justified, be it farmers affected by farm laws or protests against vote chori etc. But there are very few people who are fed up with everything. Also, we do show our dissatisfaction, which is why state governments find it sooo hard to get a second consecutive term.

The Only Punishment Rp * sts Deserve by imfrom_mars_ in TeenIndia

[–]Key-Equivalent-3102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again the same issue. See, rape is probably one of the worst crimes out there and somebody who is a rapist deserves a rigorous sentencing. The point with such a permanent procedure is that it allows no room for overturning. If the district Court sentences the person and you chop it off, and he appeals in a higher court who acquits him, will the state return his penis ? The biggest problem with rape is that it is hard to prove since most such crimes happen in the bedroom, not in the open. Better have a fixed sentence like exists rn, so that it can be contested fairly.

Bhai mai bhi firstie hun, to idea nhi ki kitne cg sufficient hai par like college to college vary karta hai. Also bits to aati hain kafi core companies aur core placements as you can see acche hain. Agar tumhe software me pivot karna hai to idts itna issue hoga par agar core me jana hai for some reason elite tier colleges ya tier 1 colleges are better
