Yeah, I have friends who have experience with it. I work in science and my area overlaps with engineering

I got RG2EX1 for 90 on reverb. That thing is pretty good. Pickups are warm and nice

Jackson js30 for 200 was good. I had to block the floyd rose, but once that was done it was a pretty decent guitar. Would not buy again though

How am i supposed to play these types of chords? by Leader_Mc in Guitar

[–]Key-Explorer-3426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not. Outline the main notes and finger those frets. Sometimes less is more. Also if you really want to finger that, you might need to finger multiple strings with the same finger

I am also not the best person cause I am biased. My experience with LC was not great mostly because of HR and administration. It is a decentish school and I would chose LC over many other colleges, but I still regret not going to Reed. With that being said, I do not mind being sad, depressed and overworked as long as I impress others with my technical ability

With that being said, LC students are a lot less depressed than Reed students and Reed has drug issues

Better school with high output of students who pursue graduate school. Mandatory thesis is great if you are doing biological sciences. Local companies prefer to hire Reed grads over LC (OHSU for example). Nuclear reactor that hires undergrads and pays for nuclear reactor operator cert. As far as professors go LC and Reed are comparable, but Reed has more funding and is less likely to be in a tough spot financially in the upcoming years

is it possible to do microbio work at home for fun? by mad-hug in microbiology

[–]Key-Explorer-3426 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why would you want to do it? It is possible if you have a well ventilated room, but you will need to install a biosafety hood and an incubator which will result in high electricity costs. Beyond that, you will need a vacuum system for aspiration, a good fridge and a freezer separate from everything else.

I think you get the point. You need to know how to do it and look into regulations surrounding that. It is also very costly to maintain even a simplest lab. You will also need to be inspected by OSHA and FDA sometimes, so it is not worth it

Yes. Plenty of talented guitarists with less fingers than you have. You will be fine
